Absolutely gorgeous hotel! Very well maintained and it shows inside and out. Big outdoor pool with plenty of seating. Decent size fitness room with machines, dumbbells and a sauna. Plenty of conference rooms if that's your thing. Fancy. No free breakfast but the attached restaurant is very good and always busy.
First time at this location and was impressed with service. Although my room wasn't ready upon arrival (3pm), I was able to keep myself busy for 60 minutes. Close location to hospitals and shuttle to/from airport. Staff was friendly.
Met a friend for dessert and a drink. The lobby smelled SO good! The bartender on the Grill side was very nice, attentive and worked very hard to please us. She was busy with a table of 8, two tables of 4 and 4-5 tables of 2. Seeing the crowd as we entered, we sat at the bar. She was quick to serve us and find out what the desserts for the day were. YUM! Carrot Cake and cheesecake were so yummy!
Perfect everything . Nice normal spring matresses (not the cheap foam used by Marriott!) . Nice larger rooms. Great staff . We come every year. Love the location too .
Great location for hotel! Stayed here many times good hotel but extremely dated ! They need to update all rooms and bathrooms. Would maybe reconsider next stay until updated! For the location. And neighborhood it is in it should be higher status !
I had a flight delay and they were kind enough to amend my booking with no extra charge. The hotel is very grand and the rooms are nice. The staff were all very kind and friendly. I would recommend staying here.
I stay at this hotel about four times a year when I’m in town for work trips. I love the hotel restaurant, which has excellent food, and also the classic feel of the overall building. I’ve stayed several other places in the St. Louis area, before the business traveler who likes a little relaxation in the evening, I think this is the best available.
Place is classic and beautiful! The people there couldn't be more helpful and very friendly! The restaurant breakfast was delicious! T h and you for a wonderful stay. Will be coming back in the future.
